OUR STORY

Before The Gates of Cedar Crest was built, H.A.Edwards, Inc. developed and managed Cedar Crest Apartments and Cedar Crest Square- two apartment complexes that served as homes to long-term residents and graduate students at the University of Alabama. However, on April 27th, 2011 an F4 tornado tore apart the City of Tuscaloosa, and destroyed both apartment complexes in its path.

After assessing the damage, Bill Edwards, CEO of H.A.Edwards, Inc. formulated a vision to rebuild in the community. Over the next three years, H.A.Edwards, Inc. worked with local engineers, architects and construction teams to build The Gates at Cedar Crest.
