What utilities are included in my lease?

The Gates pays for your internet service, but the tenant is responsible for establishing his or her own power connections. The water is provided by The Gates, but a flat rate charge is provided to the tenant. Please call our office for our rates.

What lease dates can you offer?

Our leases start on August 2, 2024 and end on July 21, 2025. This gives the management company the ability to make the unit move-in ready by painting, steam cleaning and professionally cleaning the unit before you move-in.

Do you provide roommate matching? 

The Gates does not provide roommate matching. There are several resources through the University of Alabama's off campus housing team that provides matching. 

Are pets allowed? 

The Gates allows pets. There is a one time pet-fee of $300, and $25 is added to the lease per pet per month (up to two pets)
